Free and Pro questions

Is choPOS Free really free?

Yes. choPOS Free is open source and published on WordPress.org. There is no time limit, no limit on sales, products or cashiers, and no per-transaction fee from us.

Do I need the free plugin to use Pro?

Yes. choPOS Pro is an add-on, so keep choPOS Free installed and active. Pro adds its features on top, and everything you already use keeps working the same way.

Will I lose anything when I upgrade?

No. Your products, orders and customers are ordinary WooCommerce data and stay exactly where they are. Existing orders and customers become part of your main store.

Which Pro plan includes which features?

Every Pro plan includes every Pro feature. The plans differ only in how many sites you can use Pro on and the level of support.

What happens if my Pro licence ends?

Lifetime licences do not end. If a yearly licence lapses, the Pro screens switch off and choPOS carries on as the free version. Your stores, purchases and vendors stay saved and come back when you renew.
